WHO WE ARE?
Vishwas is a home for 48 orphaned and abandoned children in Bangalore. Vishwas provides shelter, clothing, food, education, healthcare, mentoring and vocational training. Vishwas has served over 150 orphaned and abandoned children over 14 year.
HOW WE OPERATE?
Vishwas is operated by “Helpline Charitable Trust”, a registered NGO. The trust is run by founders Vyjayanthi Raman and Mrinalini Jayaram. Vishwas employs 7 women from impoverished background.
Vishwas is supported by a strong team of volunteers including mentors from companies like Infosys, Oracle, Wipro, etc. as well as doctors and senior citizen.
WHAT SETS US APART?
Complete Development: Children attend the best schools in the neighbourhood, are provided additional coaching, mentoring and counselling. Children demonstrate high academic achievement and are supported for higher education and job search after the leave Vishwas.
Transparency: Accounts are audited and published on monthly basis by independent professional firm.
Frugality: Every rupee goes toward child welfare. Many needs met by volunteers
Equality: Children from all religion, region and gender admitted. All faiths are celebrated equally.
Helpline Charitable Trust is a registered nonprofit organization. All contributions to the trust are eligible for tax deduction under section 80(g) of Income tax act. The trust has exemption under FCRA to receive foreign contributions. The accounts of the trust are audited on a monthly basis by an independent professional firm.
